Whats included in our BJJ beginner course

Beginner Course

This course covers essential techniques from major positions like closed and open guard, half guard, side control, back control, and mount. It's designed to build a strong foundation for your jiu-jitsu journey.

The course's goals

Introduce students to our main positions and most common situations. Build basic coordination and learn jiu-jitsu movements. Understand our core concepts and ideas on our positions.

Including

16 classes in eight weeks. Personal guidance from experienced instructors. Chance to train in incredible facilities that are designed only for Jiu-Jitsu.

Where is the course held?

There will be beginner courses in all of our locations: Erottaja, Sörnäinen and Kivenlahti

What time and days the course is?

Mondays and wednesdays at 19.30 (Sörnäinen) or tuesdays and thursdays 19.00 (Erottaja) or 19.30 (Kivenlahti)

What equipment should I have?

Shorts and a T-shirt are acceptable for the entire beginner course.

Is there an age limit?

Participants must be at least 14 years old, and minors require parental consent to join.

In what language the course is held?

The course is conducted in English, but our instructors are multilingual and can also speak Finnish/Swedish among other languages.

Is it safe?

Maintaining a safe environment is our utmost priority. We have a zero-tolerance policy for any behavior that harms others.
